August 2 - Blessing of the Combines
Downtown Snow Hill. Celebrating our agricultural heritage with live entertainment, a petting barnyard, craft vendors, food and a parade of combines.
August 4-8 - 41st Annual White Marlin Open
World’s largest billfish tournament! Over 300 boats vie for over $2 million in prize money. Spectators see weigh-ins free of charge.
August 8-10 - Artists Paint OC: A Plein Air Event
Locations throughout Ocean City. "Plein air" is the technique of painting outdoors, directly from life. Artists will take to the boardwalk, streets, harbors, bay, and marshes to participate!
August 17-28 - OC Hotel Week
During Hotel Week, many Ocean City properties will be offering special discounts and free night stays to encourage vacationers to visit.
August 23 - Beach N Boat Flounder Tournament
The Beach N Boat Flounder tournament is designed for all anglers, even those fishing from shore, bridge, beach, or pier. While the most popular method in this tournament is by boat, we do have many anglers choosing to fish from land.

OC Convention Center. Unique gifts and household items including oil, watercolors, woodworking, furniture, stained glass, candles and pottery.
September 6 - Pocomoktoberfest
Taste the Eastern Shore at this wine and beer festival; and check out the juried arts, jewelry and crafts show.
September 10-14 - Delmarva Bike Week and OC Bikefest
OC BikeFest is excited to bring you great music, entertainment and fun. Happening simultaneously with the Delmarva Bike Week, which attracts over 150,000 motorcycling enthusiasts to the region for concerts, stunt shows, custom bike builders, motorcycle vendors, shops, rides, and much more.
October 4 - Osprey Sprint Triathlon
Come compete with other racers, watch, or volunteer. The course is a .5 mile swim in the Chincoteague Bay, a 15.2-mile bike route is a flat circular course, and the 3.1-mile run is flat out on the roads surrounding the rural countryside of southern Worcester County.
You're probably used to seeing canoes, speed boats and jet skis along our coast, but what about an 870 foot, 16th century Spanish exhibition ship! Through the month of August, you'll have the rare opportunity to tour El Galeon Andalucia, a replica of the late 16th century fabled merchant vessel and war ships at the Tall Ship Event. Travel back in time 500 years when you step onboard this magnificent ship and experience what it was like to explore the world in the 16th century!
