Discover - Worcester County Arts
The Worcester County Arts Council works to promote and encourage the cultural opportunities throughout the county. It provides grants to arrange cultural events, including concerts, art exhibits and theater performances; and it funds numerous projects for the county schools. Worcester County citizens and businesses actively support the council and appreciate the contribution its programs make to the quality of life here. This region has become home to well-known artists. Berlin's Balcony Gallery in the Globe Theater, the East of the Bay Gallery in Ocean City and Henry's Art Center in Berlin present a full year of exhibits. Ocean City has an active Art League, as well as an Art Cooperative; they share exhibition space for showcasing regional artists. Salisbury offers a number of commercial galleries, with a diverse selection of work, as well as the Art Institute and Gallery, which offers classes and shows. The world-renowned Ward Museum of Wildfowl Art is also located in Salisbury.
 There is a wide variety of entertainment throughout the year in Ocean City, Berlin, and Salisbury. The Convention Centers in Salisbury and Ocean City present concerts, special events and shows. Area schools host theater and dance productions. The Globe Theater in Berlin offers classic movies and live musical entertainment. The Ocean City Convention Center hosts several events including the Nautical and Wildlife Art Festival, Ward World Championship Wildfowl Carving Competition, Antiques-By-the-Sea, Sweet Adelines Region 19 Convention/Competition and the Gem, Mineral & Jewelry Show.
