Just a few miles inland, Berlin treats you to turn-of-the-century charm. The restored downtown business district and stately homes reflect appreciation of the good life, past and present. Berlin hosts many cultural events and a gallery of fascinating shops featuring local art, crafts, jewelry and antiques.
Resort glamour, sophisticated entertainment and gourmet dining share the spotlight with funky souvenir shops, amusement parks and unparalleled French fries. Swimming, boating, fishing, golf, tennis, shopping and dining - OC has it all! 
Golf, tennis, nature trails, dining, marinas, and special events are available for public use. The community also hosts holiday, family and cultural events throughout the year. Visitors are always welcome.
Pocomoke City is at the county's southern tip. The Pocomoke River is as much a part of the city's character as its geography. Picnic among the waterlilies in Cypress Park, with its riverfront dock, playgrounds and tennis courts. Explore the nature trail through the cypress swamp. A short drive brings you to Chincoteague and Assateague Islands.
Historic Snow Hill celebrates more than 300 years on the Pocomoke River. Enormous sycamores line streets of historic homes and churches. Local museums illuminate the past. A narrated boat ride on the Pocomoke originates in Snow Hill, as do canoe rentals and walking tours. Furnace Town Historic Site and Pocomoke River State Park are nearby.
